Danie Alexandre of Stuart, FL; slacker, serial offender

The state of Florida provided Danie Victor Alexandre with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law.

FYI: Nova Southeastern is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Florida State Bar found Danie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Danie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Improperly displayed The Florida Bar's seal on her website
• improperly displayed the board-certified logo when she was not board certified
• Website improperly utilized the word "specialized" without respondent being board certified
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Danie by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

Danie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to properly communicate with client  
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Services provided to client were not commensurate with fee paid by the client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Danie by gifting her with a complimentary admonishment.

Danie’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to maintain office trust account in substantial minimum compliance with Rules Regulating the Florida Bar
• Wrote a check on insufficient funds account (rubber)
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Danie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
