The state of New Jersey presented Raymond Charles Osterbye with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from Catholic University School of Law.

The DC Bar Counsel found Larry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to inform clients of conflict of interest
• Undertook joint representation without a fee agreement
• Continued to represent clients after conflict arose

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the DC Bar Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Larry.
