Attorney Tanika Solomon of Houston; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Tanika J. Solomon with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from the University of Houston School of Law.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Tanika guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly deliver to clients’ medical providers finds they were entitled to receive
• Failed to promptly render full accounting of funds payable to medical providers
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of legal matters
• Failed to comply with client information requests

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Tanika by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians on the Texas Supreme Court failed to mete out any meaningful punishment to Tanika.
