Attorney Marcus Spagnoletti of Houston; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Marcus Raymond Spagnoletti with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Marcus guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected the legal matters entrusted to him
• Failed to carry out completely obligations owed to clients
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Marcus by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians on the Texas Supreme Court failed to mete out any meaningful punishment to Marcus.
