Attorney Andrew Vaughn of Canton, TX; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Andrew David Vaughn with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law.

The District 1 Grievance Committee found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to perform legal services he was obligated to provide

As one would suspect, this isn’t Andy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary stayed suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians on the Texas Supreme Court failed to mete out any meaningful punishment to Andy.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Andy practices with the Andrew Vaughn Law Firm PC in Canton, Texas.
