Attorney Shannon Thomas of Baton Rouge, LA; batterer

The State of Louisiana presented Shannon Jay Thomas with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Southern University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Shannon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Arrested and charged with the crime of simple battery

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Shannon by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
