Judge Marcia Silva of New Brunswick, NJ; cheerleader for rapists

The state of New Jersey provided James Troiano with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the New York School of Law.

Former Gov. Chris Christie was duped into appointing Marcia as a New Jersey Superior Court judge in 2014. Marcia didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualified attorney in the greater Middlesex County area. She received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Marcia presided over a case wherein a 160year-old boy was charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year old girl. (NJ.com)

The victim alleged that E.R.M. penetrated her “with force” in 2017 despite her “repeatedly” saying no, biting him and asking him to stop. As a direct consequence of the sexual assault, the victim began to bleed.

The prosecutors filed a motion with Judge Silva to have the rapist, identified in court documents as E.R.M. tried as an adult. In a display of arrogant ignorance, Marcia denied the prosecutor’s motion. As a result of her denial, the prosecutors filed an appeal with the local Court of Appeal.

In denying the motion, Silva the Humanitarian, said:

“Beyond losing her virginity [she was 12], the state did not claim that the victim suffered any further injuries, either physical, mental or emotional.”

In reversing Silva’s asinine ruling, the Court of Appeal berated Silva for her “minimization of the harm wrought on a twelve-year-old child by E.R.M., assuming her claims are true.”

After hearing of the reversal, Monmouth County prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni made the following comments to a reporter for the New York Times.

• “This is conduct that should be punished in adult court.”
• “We subscribe to the idea that the juvenile system is supposed to be rehabilitative.”
• “But when you’re dealing with charges as serious as these, it’s a whole different ball of wax.”

Of course, Marcia doesn’t much give a damn how many times she is literally spanked by a higher court for acting in a biased and incompetent manner because she knows that no New Jersey judge has ever been booted from the bench for being a grossly incompetent loser.

As we speak (ca. July 2019), Marcia continues to sit as a Vicinage 8 Superior Court judge in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
