Judge William Marshall of Portsmouth, OH; ethical troll, repeater

The state of Ohio presented William T. Marshall with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Attempted to influence Ohio patrolman to drop charges against his daughter
• Also tried to influence juvenile court to dismiss pending charges

As one would suspect, this isn’t Billy’s first bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand after being adjudged guilty of driving under the influence (DUI).

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension from the bench, meaning he’ll be back on the bench in late July or early August 2019.

As we speak (ca. July 2019), Billy is whiling away his time by basking in the sun in his backyard while downing a half dozen or more 16-ounce cans of Bud.
