Attorney Paul Maggiotto of Concord, NH; ethical leprechaun

In the recent past, the New Hampshire Supreme Court found Paul guilty of carrying on a sexual relationship with a client he was representing in a divorce action.

The woman’s husband complaint to authorities when he discovered the affair, saying that he believed Maggiotto had rushed the divorce through as a result of the sexual relationship.

The enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Attorney Disciplinary Commission recommended that Paulie receive a complimentary reprimand for his highly unethical conduct.

However the New Hampshire Supreme Court declined to follow the recommendations of the enablers on the Disciplinary Commission. The Court censured Paulie thereby causing his misconduct to be published with the bar association and the local paper in Concord.

Paulie refused to comment to the Concord Monitor about his misconduct other than to brush it off b by saying he didn’t consider the matter newsworthy.

Apparently Paulie is of the opinion that screwing a vulnerable client involved in a contested divorce isn’t no big deal.

As we speak (ca. March 2012) Paulie is practicing law at Maggiotto & Belobrow, PLLC at 58 Pleasant Street in Concord.
