Attorney Dominick Scandurro Jr. of Buras, LA; cheerleader for convicted racketeers

The state of Louisiana presented Dominick Scandurro Jr. with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

In one matter, Dominick was a member of a disciplinary committee panel that was considering the reinstatement of attorney Arthur Gilmore Jr., a convicted racketeer who was sentenced to 24-months in federal prison. An article dealing with Mr. Gilmore can be viewed by visiting the URL at the end of this article.

Apparently, Dominick is more concerned with Mr. Gilmore being reinstated to practice law than he is with his tendency to engage in racketeering activities. Seemingly, Dominick is under the impression that Mr. Gilmore has an absolute constitutional right to earn a dishonest living practice law.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Dominick practices his brand of law with Scandurro & Layrisson at 30868 Highway 23 in Buras, Louisiana.
