Attorney Louis Karp of Parsippany, NJ; liar, repeat offender

The State of New Jersey presented Louis I. Karp with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Yeshiva University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Louie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Louie’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence
• Made a misrepresentation [lied] to his adversary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentary private reprimand.

Louie’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in gross neglect regarding client tax matter
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to turn over client file upon termination
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Louie!)
• Failed to pursue the foreclosure of the tax sale certificate, which was in his possession
• Failed to properly defend the Pennsylvania litigation, which resulted in a judgment against his client
• Ignored client’s repeated requests, through new counsel, for information about the tax sale certificate and Pennsylvania litigation matters

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Louie by gifting him with a complimentarycensure. 

As we speak (ca. June 2019) Louie practices with the Weiner Law Group LLP at 629 Parsippany Road in Parsippany, New Jersey.
