Attorney Walter Ledesma of Portland; ethical gremlin

The state of Oregon presented Walter J. Ledesma with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Willamette University School of Law.

The Oregon State Bar found Walt guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
  • Failed to respond to repeated client communications
  • Improperly deposited client funds into personal account
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Walt by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2019), Walt practices with the Northwest Law Center at 405 NW 11th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
