In all truth, Ricky is yet another self-serving hypocrite who used his status as a so-called public servant to enrich himself by acting as an overpaid pimp (aka, lobbyist). Anyone that actually believes that Ricky is your run-of-the-mill commoner must have an I.Q. equal to the legal speed limit in a school zone.

The average household income in Alleghany County is about $48,000. This means that Rickey the Commoner earns almost 19 times what the average household earns. Goshes and Gollies, it must be like really hard to live on a measly 900 grand a year in the Pittsburgh area, right?

During the time Rickey was porking out at the public trough, his average annual earnings was about $140,000. According to Rickey’s just released tax returns for the period after he disgorged his snout from the public trough, his annual earnings as a lobbying pimp is:

Rickey likes to portray himself as a social conservative while stressing his family’s coal-mining background in his appeal to religious and working-class voters. Put simply, Rickey wants y’all to believe he’s just a member of the hard working middle class.

Thereafter, Rickey did what most losers do; he became a well-paid Washington lobbyist (aka, pimp).

In 2007, the voters in Pennsylvania tired of Rickey’s right-wing agenda and told him take a hike when he was defeated by 18 points in his reelection attempt.

From 1991 through 2007, Ricky had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough while serving as a U.S. Congressman and U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.

As I suspect y’all know, Rick Santorum is running for the Republican nomination for President. Presently (ca. 02/16/12) Rickey appears to be running ahead of Mitt Romney in the polls.
