Former Judge Bradford Clark Timbers of Allentown, PA; potty-mouth lush  
While sitting on the court in Lehigh County, Judge Bradford Clark Timbers was charged with the following misconduct.
On one or more occasions when Brad appeared in Court, he had (1) glassy, bloodshot eyes, (2) slurred speech, (3) smelled of alcohol, (4) had an unsteady walk, and (5) a disheveled appearance.
Brad was so drunk that he could not comprehend the instructions the bailiff gave him as to how to conduct a preliminary arraignment. So what?
On one occasion Brad went to lunch at about noon and returned at 2:00. When he returned he had a flushed face, slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. Brad then went home; took a shower and changed clothes and then returned to court. Hmmm, for Brad it appears that showering is a sobering event.
Brad ratted-out for boozing on the job
The Lehigh County Administrative Judge told President Judge Diefenderfer that Brad was consuming alcoholic beverages while in his court offices.
Judge Diefenderfer sent Brad a memo telling him that alcoholic beverages were not permitted upon, or to be consumed in any district court offices, including his own. An unreliable source indicated that Brad said, “Gee whiz, I didn’t know that.”
After having received, read and acknowledged the memo, Brad continued to possess and consume alcohol within his district offices.
Potty Mouth Brad
On days when Bradford presided at Central Court he regularly used the word “fuck” in the presence of co-workers, non-court employees, police officers and litigants, and did so in open court.
After Judge Jepson had arrived, Brad called her a “fat fucking bitch.” Whew!
Because of Brad’s conduct, Police Officers Tracolla and Felton came to the court. Brad then used threatening language towards Officer Tracolla by saying he would have “his fucking job.” That’s all we need . . . an idiot soused-to-the-gills with a badge, a gavel and a gun.
Later on, Brad answered the court’s phone when assistant DA Stephen Van Natten called, by saying, “Who the fuck are you?” When Van Natten refused to give his name, Bradford said, “Fuck you” and hung up.
Sexual Touching
Sometime in early 1994, while Brad and Ms. Tammy Foster, a court clerk was in his office, he slapped her on the buttocks, without her consent. Cool!
As a consequence of his egregious misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Brad by gifting him with a six-month suspension.
Luckily for the good folks in Lehigh County Brad the Lush is no longer on the bench.
