Mike Huckabee: Today’s “Homophobic Loon” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Mikey. In the past, she has been the recipient of thirty-eight (38) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
During a recent appearance on the Sean Hannity Comedy Show, Mikey decided to further prove his undying loyalty for Donald “Trumporleone” Trump.
After donning a pair of Trumpian Brand ™ Industrial Strength Knee Pads, Mikey spewed forth the following red meat to be digested by Hannity’s low I.Q. followers by attacking the anonymous author of a New York Times editorial stating that The Great Leader was a total Loon.
During a recent (ca. April 2019) interview with the with the right wing rag The Christian Post, should rightfully be called The Unchristian Post, Mikey decided to once again establish his bona fides as one of America’s Premier Homophobes. Towards that end, Mikey spewed forth the following garbage in his never-ending attack on members of the gay community.
Yeah Mikey Baby! Having a President that is a Serial Adulterer, who brags about grabbing women by the pussy, sleeps with Porn Stars and then lies about it and engages in wholesale lying (over 9,000 as of April 2019) is a model of American morality, right Mikey?
The Bible that Mikey and his right-wing Trump loving bigots observe must have been authored by writers working for Mad magazine in association with the Comedy Channel. As a youngster that was a choir and alter boy during grade school at the Holy Rosary Church in Toledo, I cannot recall reading a bible that said it was acceptable to discriminate against anyone regardless of who they were. The same goes for all the religion classes I took for well over ten years.
Apparently, when Mikey attended Ouachita Baptist University and the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, both institutions taught its students that God wanted them to overtly discriminate against members of the gay community. Put simply, these schools must have taught Mikey and those of his ilk that gay persons were not worthy of God’s love, but gay haters were.
This is the same Baptist church that waited until 2009 to apologize for being ardent supporters of slavery. Therefore, it isn’t surprising that the Baptist Church cheerfully pursues an agenda that cheerfully promotes discrimination against the LGBTQ community.
With his fellow bigot and homophobe in the Whitehouse, Mikey and his band of bigoted Christians are merely waiting for the newly formed U.S. Supreme Court to officially legalize discrimination against member of the LGBTQ community by claiming that “Jesus mad me do it!”
