Attorney William Managhan of Kalispell, MT; slacker, loser

The state of Montana presented William Managhan with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to formerly withdraw as counsel for client
  • Trial issued Notice of Failure to Prosecute in client’s case
  • After a 60-day waiting period passed without any action taken by Billy on his client’s behalf, the trial court dismissed the case
  • By the time client’s case was dismissed, the statute of limitations had run on the matter and the client was unable to pursue lost wages from his former employer
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Billy practices with the Managhan Law Firm PLLC at 278 Fourth Avenue East in Kalispell, Montana.
