Attorney Tarek Khowassah of Iowa City, IA; crooked repeater

The state of Iowa presented Tarek A. Khowassah with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law. 

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Tarek guilty of the following misconduct.

Tarek’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Pled guilty to driving under the influence (DUI)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Tarek by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Tarek’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Accepted and retained military leave pay that he knew he was not lawfully entitled to receive

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Tarek by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Tarek practices at 46 Kennedy Parkway in Iowa City, Iowa.
