Attorney Derek Quinata of El Paso, TX; thieving loser

The state of Texas presented Derek Alfonso Quinata with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law.

FYI: Texas Southern is ranked as the 179^th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools, meaning its basically dedicated to accepting losers that could get into schools like the University of Texas.

The District 17 Grievance Committee found Derek guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to return unearned portion of fees [crook]
• Ordered to pay $700 in restitution to client [victim]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Derek by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Derek.
