Attorney Richard Dunn of Longview, TX; cheating loser

The state of Texas presented Richard Clement Dunn with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

The District 11 Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client’s postconviction writ of habeas corpus action
  • Failed to timely file writ of habeas corpus on client’s behalf
  • Failed to withdraw from client representation when required to do so
  • Failed to refund unearned advance fees [cheater]

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Dick practices at 140 East Tyler Street in Longview, Texas.
