The state of Minnesota presented Jennifer Casanova-Roers with a law license in 20033 after she graduated from William Mitchell College School of Law.

 

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jenny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to notify tribunal that documents submitted with her signature had not been signed or authorized by her
  • Assisted others in the illegal practice of law
  • Allowed non-lawyers to prepare legal pleadings and meets with client’s w/o supervision
  • Made false statements to ethics investigator (Screw you, said Jenny!)
  • Failed to provide client with receipt for cash payment of fees
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Jenny by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of her law license and assessed $900.00 in costs.

 

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Jenny practices in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
