Attorney Jeremy Brantingham of Minneapolis; ethical gremlin

The state of Minnesota presented Jeremy Lloyd Brantingham with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from William Mitchell College School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Jeremy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain trust account books
  • Allowed shortages to occur in his trust account
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Improperly advanced funds to client from personal settlement funds
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to promptly provide client with her file upon termination

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Jeremy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license and assessed $900.00 in costs.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Jeremy practices in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
