Former Judge Hank Middlemas of Fairmont, WV; moronic slacker

The West Virginia Judicial Investigation Commission found Hank guilty of the following misconduct.

• Actions demonstrated flagrant disregard for the Code of Judicial Conduct
• Demonstrated cavalier attitude toward the judiciary as a whole
• Failed to perform judicial duties competently [moron]
• Repeatedly placed his golf game over the integrity of the Court
• Abrogated his judicial responsibilities
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Chronically responsible for avoidable delays in court matters
• Proved untruthful when it came to his wrongdoing
• Failed to contact the jail as required and consequently did not arraign six people booked into the facility earlier in the evening between 6: 15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
• Failed to comply with the law
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Hank!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Hank by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment (scolding).

As we speak (ca. April 2019, Hank now longer sits on the bench due to his agreement to resign and never seek a judicial office in the future. Rumor has it that Hank has recently applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 32 Tygart Mall Loop in Fairmont, West Virginia.
