Attorney Darren Shapiro of Jericho, NY; drunken convict

The state of New York presented Darren M. Shapiro with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Miami  School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Darren guilty of the following misconduct.

• Convicted of obstructing governmental investigation
• Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Darren by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Darren practices with the Law and Mediation Office of Darren M. Shapiro PC at 99 Jericho Turnpike in Jericho, New York.
