Attorney Marshall Berger of New York City; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Marshall C. Berger with a law license in 1956 after she graduated from Columbia University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Marshall guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Intentional violation of established rule of procedure or evidence
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Marshall by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Marshall practices at 310 Madison Avenue in New York, New York.
