Attorney Ashley Preston of Nashville; moron, repeat offender

The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Ashley Denise Preston with a law license in 2006 after she graduated from Mercer University School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Ashley guilty of the following misconduct.

Ashley’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to respond to Court orders after failing to file a brief in a criminal case

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Ashley by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth the comedians sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Ashley.
