Attorney Michael Sussman of Goshen, NY; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Michael H. Sussman with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Harvard University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to properly identify escrow account records
• Failed to maintain disputed funds in escrow account
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to account for bank charges

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Mikey practices with Sussman & Associates at 1 Railroad Avenue in Goshen, New York.
