Attorney Jose Quesada Jr. of Philippines; slacker, loser  

 

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Jose C. Quesada Jr. with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

 

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Jose guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in gross negligence in handling client labor complaints
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to maintain a high standard of legal proficiency
  • Failed to devote his full attention, skill and competence to client’s case
  • Failed to act with honesty in all dealings, especially with courts
  • Failed to attend scheduled conference hearings despite due notice and without any proper justification
  • Exhibited inexcusable lack of care and diligence in managing client’s cause of action

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Jose by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
