Judge Medel Belen of Philippines; ethical dwarf

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Medel B. Belen with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Medel guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Medel improperly used official court letterhead and signed his name using the word “judge” in his letter-complaint to the First United Methodist Church in Michigan.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Medel by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Medel continues to sit as a Regional Trial Court, Branch 36 in Calamba City, Philippines.
