Judge Byron Konschuh of Lapeer, MI; thieving liar

The state of Michigan provided provided Byron J. Konschuh with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Wayne State University School of Law.

Former Gov. Rick Snyder was duped into appointing Byron as a Lapeer County Circuit Court judge in March 2013. Bryon didn’t get the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Lapeer area. He received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission has found and/or charged Judge Konschuh of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Charged with 5 counts of embezzlement by a public official over $50 in July 2014, all of which took place while he was employed as the Lapeer County Prosecutor
  • Charged with Failure to Account for County Money, a misdemeanor
  • Pled no contest [guilty in effect] to Failure to Account for County Money
  • Made false or misleading statements to Michigan State Police
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Misconduct adversely reflects on fitness to practice
  • Failed to disclose possible grounds for disqualification to those appearing before him
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Knowingly made misrepresentation [lied] to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Byron)
  • Failed to respect and observe the law
  • Failed to treat people with respect and courtesy that he dealt with
  • Used prestige of judicial office to advance personal business interests or those of others
  • Failed to be faithful to the law or maintain competence in it [moron]
  • Failed to disqualify himself from a case or cases when disqualification was mandatory
  • Improperly endorsed a candidate for non-judicial office

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Byron by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Byron continues to sit as a Lapeer County, 40th Circuit Court judge in Lapeer, Michigan.
