Attorney Christopher Griffin of Westminster, CO; cheating drunk
The state of Colorado presented Christopher L. Griffin with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Denver School of Law.
Disciplinary Counsel found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to keep required financial records

Neglected to provide any fee agreement to the client

Failed to adequately communicate with his client about the case

Failed to respond to client information requests

Mistakenly treated $500 belonging to his client as earned and deposited that money into his operating account

Failed again to provide a written statement explaining his fee

Client fired Chris and demanded a refund

Over a period of months, Chris disregarded client’s multiple requests for an update

Provided no benefit or legal service to the client, who had to pay for a new lawyer

Arrested and pled guilty to driving under the influence (DUI)

Failed to maintain trust account records

Failed to protect a client’s interests upon termination of the representation

Failed to return unearned fees [cheater]
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak, (ca. April 2019), Chris practices at 12207 Pecos Street in Westminster, Colorado.
