Attorney Charles Perrault of Salem, NH; moronic slacker

The state of New Hampshire presented Charles F. Perrault with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • In preparing deeds for the signatures of his sister clients failed to take  steps to assure that each of the sisters understood the import of the documents, agreed to their terms, was competent to sign the documents and was not subject to any undue influence
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Charlie by gifting him with complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Charlie practices at 50 Northwestern Drive in Salem, New Hampshire.
