Attorney Phillip Torres of Guam; ethical goblin

The Office of the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client funds with personal funs
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of funds owing to the client
  • Represented client when he knew or should have known that said representation would materially affect his representation of another client
  • Engaged in professional misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor’s Committee punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Phil practices with the Torres Law Group at 130 Aspinall Avenue in Hagatna, Guam.
