Attorney Carol Baulos of Guam; idiot, repeat offender

The Guam Supreme Court provided Carol with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Law.

The Office of the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor found Carol guilty of the following misconduct.

Carol’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in professional misconduct
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Carol!)
• Improperly communicated with a person she knew to be represented by counsel
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of professional conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor’s Committee punished Carol by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Carol’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide competent representation [idiot]
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor’s Committee punished Carol by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 3-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Guam Bar Association Ethics Prosecutor’s Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Carol.
