Attorney Lloyd Sheckleford of Jamaica; serial deadbeat

The Jamaica Licensing Commission provided Lloyd O. Sheckleford with a law license in 1998.

The Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel found Lloyd guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in serious professional misconduct
• Engaged in illegal practice of law at a time he had failed to pay the prescribed fee pursuant to the Principal Act
• Failed to maintain the honor and dignity of the profession
• Engaged in conduct tending to discredit the legal profession
• Practiced for twenty-two (22) years without paying for his practice certificate

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Lloyd by gifting him with a complimentary $350,000.00 ($2,379.00 US) fine and assessed costs of $100,000.00 ($793.00 US).

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Lloyd practices at 15B Old Hope Road in Jamaica.
