Attorney Keith Gordon of Ontario, CAN; repeat offender

 

The Law Society of Upper Canada presented Keith Louis Gordon with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from University of Ottawa School of Law.

 

The Law Society of Upper Canada Disciplinary Committee found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Keith’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Failed to properly serve his client
  • Failed to keep client advised of status of matter
  • Failed to respond to client inquiries
  • Failed to respond to his client’s mother
  • Failed to account to at least two clients
  • Failed to advise client when he would return funds to him and then failed to do so
  • Failed to attend court hearings on client’s behalf
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Keith!)
  • Failed to respond to client messages

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Keith by gifting him a complimentary reprimand and assessed him with $1,000.00 in costs regarding the ethics investigation. 

 

Keith’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Failed to properly serve his client
  • Failed to respond to telephone, written and electronic client communications
  • Failed to complete the work that he was retained to do in relation to his client's family law matter
  • Failed to attend scheduled court dates on at least three occasions
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Keith!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Keith by gifting him a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and assessed him with $2,000.00 in costs regarding the ethics investigation. 

 

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Keith practices at 30 McCumber Road North in Akwesasne, Ontario, Canada.
