Attorney Keith Knowlton of Tempe, AZ; ethical gremlin

The state of Arizona presented Keith M. Knowlton with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Brigham Young (BYU) University School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Keith guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Negligently administered his client trust account and his clients’ funds
  • Bad faith obstruction of ethics investigators (Screw you, said Keith!)
  • General ledger and client ledgers did not accurately reflect the deposits to the account or the disbursements from the account
  • Failed to record the required information on his trust account records
  • Failed to maintain all of the required trust account records
  • Numerous ledgers contained incorrect information

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of the disciplinary proceeding in the amount of $1,289.70.

As we speak (ca. April 2019) Keith practices with Keith M. Knowlton LLC at 99209 South Rural Road in Tempe, Arizona.
