Attorney Rachel Baxter of Edison, NJ; negligent slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Rachel LeAnn Baxter with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Rachel guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in negligent misappropriation [theft] of client funds
  • Failed to notify a client of receipt of funds to which the client is entitled
  • Failed to promptly disburse client funds to client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Rachel by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2018) Rachel practices at 100 Plainfield Avenue in Edison, New Jersey.
