Attorney Scott Rumizen of Beachwood, OH; greedy fraudster

The state of Ohio presented Scott Andrew Rumizen with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Toledo School of Law. Toledo is ranked as the 152^nd best law school in the country out of 205 accredited ABA schools.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Acted with selfish and dishonest motive
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• On at least 13 occasions, underpaid law firm re: payment of fees received

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license effective February 2019. 

As we speak (ca. March 3019), Scotty will resume his practice with Rumizen & Weisman Co. Ltd at 28601 Chagrin Blvd in Beachwood, Ohio in August 2019.
