Attorney Natalie Bahan of Bellefontaine, OH; ethical goblin

The state of Ohio presented Natalie Jonnelle Bahan with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from Capitol University School of Law. Capitol is ranked as the 157th  best law school in the country out of 205 accredited ABA schools.

The Columbus Bar Association found Natalie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Lacked requisite trial experience to be designated court-appointed co-counsel in murder case
  • Improperly solicited employment when significant motive in doing so was Natalie’s pecuniary gain
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Acted with selfish and dishonest motive
  • Failed to acknowledge wrongful nature of her conduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Natalie by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Natalie.

As we speak (ca. March 3019), Natalie practices with Bahan Law LLC at 118 Court Avenue in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
