Attorney Alan Briones of Raleigh, NC; slacker, loser

The state of North Carolina provided Alan T. Briones Jr. with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.

• Delayed and neglected client’s time-sensitive claim
• Filed client lawsuit that contained significant errors
• Lied to client he would file amended complaint to correct errors
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Alan!)
• Falsely represented that client owed additional attorney’s fees
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Alan by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Alan practices at 5 West Hargett Street in Raleigh, North Carolina.
