Attorney William Linka of Richmond, VA; slacker, loser

The state of Virginia presented William Theodore Linka with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Billy guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a prosecutor.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to file appeal petition on client’s behalf
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2019), Billy practices with Richmond Criminal Law at 7 South 1st Street in Richmond, Virginia.
