Attorney Christopher Fujiyama of Waipahu, HI; convicted counterfeiter

 

The state Hawaii presented Christopher M. Fujiyama with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Hawaii School of Law.

 

Disciplinary Counsel found Chris guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of intentionally and knowingly trafficking in counterfeit goods
  • Sentenced to three-year term of probation
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Demonstrated dishonest and selfish motive involving his criminal conduct
  • Criminal conduct injured the corporate owners of the rightful trademarks

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hawaii Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him a complimentary 4-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Chris practices at 94-144 Farrington Highway in Waipahu, Hawaii.
