Attorney John Claussen of Terre Haute, IN; thieving loser

The state of Indiana presented John Howard Nehf Claussen with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of Indiana School of Law.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Stole prescription drugs from a client’s girlfriend while visiting her home
  • Continually mismanaged his lawyer trust account
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Made multiple transfers out of trust account, which was overdrawn several times

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Johnny practices with the Claussen Law Office at 400 Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana.
