Attorney Martin Troshynski of North Platte, NE; slacker, loser

The state of Nebraska presented Martin J. Troshynski with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Marty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act fairly to opposing party and counsel
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Marty!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to appear at court-scheduled hearing on client’s behalf
• Despite three motions to compel discovery, failed to comply with defense counsel’s requests
• Due to failure to comply with court ordered discovery, client’s case was dismissed by trial court
• Failed to advise clients their case dismissed for discovery violations
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of their matters

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the North Carolina Supreme Court punished Marty by gifting him with a complimentary 45-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Marty practices his brand of law with the Troshynski Law Office at 1020 South Dewey in North Platte, Nebraska.

As one would suspect, Marty fails to mention the aforementioned misconduct on his self-serving website at www.troshlaw.com. Apparently, Marty chose to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients so as to not limit his future victim pool.
