Attorney Anthony Spinazze of Sylvania, OH; drunken liar

The state of Ohio provided Anthony Perin Spinazze with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Toledo School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Tony guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a part time Sylvania City Prosecutor.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Arrested for driving under the influence (DUI)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Misled Muni Court Judge Bonfiglio regarding case against him
  • Lied to Judge Bonfiglio that arresting officers had consented to reduction of DUI to physical control of vehicle while under the influence of alcohol
  • Falsely asserted to prosecutor in offering reduction of DUI to physical control
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal
  • Made false notations in his own DUI criminal case file
  • Knowingly made false statements to the Chief Prosecutor

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Tony practices with Lydy & Moan at 4930 Holland-Sylvania Road in Sylvania, Ohio.
