Attorney Gregory Wysin of Kent, OH; cheating slacker

The state of Ohio provided Gregory James Wysin with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Has never refunded any portion of the $4,100 in unearned fees [cheater]
  • Never provided clients with accounting of alleged legal services he provided
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to seek/obtain permission for appellate court to withdraw from client representation
  • Failed to take steps to protect client interests upon termination
  • Knowingly made false statements to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Greg!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2019), Greg practices with Gregory J. Wysin Co. LLC at 2037 Brady Lake Road in Kent, Ohio.
