The California Supreme Court presented Michael J. Barsi with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law.
In the recent past, Mike was arrested, charged and pleaded no contest to false imprisonment and battery.
Mike and his then-wife, who were separated at the time, had an altercation wherein he pushed and shoved her, causing her to fall down. Mike then threw her against a neighbor’s wall. He then followed her into an office and pulled and pushed her again.
Mike’s a really classy gentleman, right? Mike was sentenced to one-year of probation for his criminal convictions.
As a consequence of his criminal conduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary probation of one-year.
In its findings of misconduct against Mike, the misogynists sitting on the Bar Court stated that Mike’s criminal conduct in assaulting his ex-wife didn’t constitute moral turpitude. Put simply, wife-beating isn’t considered immoral conduct by these fools.
Black’s Law Dictionary defines Moral Turpitude as: “Act or behavior that gravely violates moral sentiment or accepted moral standards of community… (Black’s Law Dictionary, 5th Edition, page 910)
Apparently, the misogynists at the Bar Court find wife-beating (assault) to be within the “moral standards” of their community. How cool is that ?
