Attorney Rocky Crofts of Roy, UT; cheating ignoramus

The state of Utah presented Rocky D. Crofts with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Idaho School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Rocky guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (ignoramus)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• After being hired to obtain a loan modification, Rocky allowed several months to pass without provide any services on the client’s behalf
• Refused to refund any of the money paid by the client (cheater)
• Billed client  for two hours of time to withdraw and close the client file, which was not a reasonable fee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Rocky by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
