Attorney Ashleigh Kerr of Solon, OH; ethical goblin

The State of Ohio presented Ashleigh Brie Kerr with a law license in 2010 after she graduated from Cleveland State School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Ashleigh guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Violated ethical obligations due to romantic involvement with another attorney
• Shared emails with boyfriend that included confidential client information and work product

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Ashleigh by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Ashleigh.
