Attorney Donald Ervin of Brenham, TX; thieving loser

The State of Texas presented Donald E. Ervin with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

The District 8 Grievance Committee found Donnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to return any unearned fees of $30,000 (thief)
  • Failed to comply with client request to return his file
  • Failed to retain unearned fees in client trust account
  • Failed to respond to numerous client information requests
  • Failed to file client appeal despite being paid upfront fee of $15,000
  • Failed to file any pleadings on client’s behalf over a 20-month period of time

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license and ordered to pay $10,037.96 in attorney fees and direct expenses related to the ethics investigation.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Donnie.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Timmy practices 1t 110 North Baylor Street in Brenham, Texas.
